Sticking With You

A clever, artful way to make your personal space go pop!

Some people can decorate. Other people find decorators. And then there's the rest of us. The ones with fortitude, who just grin and bear certain descriptions of our rather uninspired, blank walls. Words like "minimalist" or "sterile" come to mind. Maybe when you have people over you get asked, "Did you just move in?" Or you get the most unflattering reaction of all—dead silence. Pop Cling, a Costa Mesa-based fine art and pop art reproduction company, has figured out quite the creative way to help us all out.

Along with more traditional fare like graphic t-shirts, skateboard decks and paper prints, they specialize in capturing high-resolution graphic prints onto vinyl, which can be easily applied to your apartment's walls. Prints showcase the works of various local and international artists, both established and emerging, including Jeremyville, Junko Mizuno, Dave Pressler, DGPH, Friends With You, Zeptonn, Attaboy and Hicalorie. In addition to these pieces, they'll soon make the very natural shift into more traditional fine-art reproduction, beginning with the exclusive works of Luke Chueh, an L.A.-based talent known for his cuddly—but macabre—cartoon animals in various states of duress.

And as if Pop Cling wasn't already user-friendly enough, they're also kind enough to provide assistance with custom and large-format gallery-style installations for your home, if you subscribe to that whole bigger is better thing. Bottom line: Now your friends will have to come up with some new, much more complimentary words to describe your space, and you'll have to figure out what to do about your boyfriend's awful model plane collection.
