After seeing Sicko, we didn't really need another reason to wish we lived in Paris, but now, here it is: Velib. This new, Zipcar-like service allows you to walk up to a station, swipe a card, and magically ride away on a bike that you can park at hundreds of other stations across the city. We think this idea rocks, and at less than $1.50 a pop (depending on how long you keep your wheels), it's an affordable way to get around, to boot. Better health care. Wine. Cheese. And now they school on this, too.
