The H Fredriksson Identity
Helena Fredriksson is a self taught designer with a background in sculptural design and also is a Gen Art Fashion Week Alum. She sees the body as sculpture, which means she creates with the body's shape, not around it. Helena uses opposites, such as loose shirts with tight skirts, long blouses with short pants and also mashing-up male and female styles.
Her Spring 2006 looks follow her usual ethos of specific colors and patterns with lots of skin exposed. Plus, HF always does this great thing of always having the front of her pieces look different than the back. Go turn yourself into a masterpiece.
