We trust that a Dade County-bred graffiti artist who goes by the name Aholsniffsglue knows how to throw a good party: That's why this Saturday night we plan to hit up Coltoberfest 305, a crazy music and art mash-up at Churchill's Pub where the Colt45 will flow like water. (The cool kids from Vice magazine are co-sponsoring the event along with Colt, so expect brilliant people watching in the form of scores of drunken Do's and Dont's.)

But it's not just a hipster bacchanal. Many area artists whose work you regularly spot in Design District galleries have created miniature paintings that will be ironically displayed on 32-ounce bottles of Colt45, all curated by Aholsniffsglue. While you're enjoying your malt liquor with a side of talented emerging art talent, you'll also be doing a good thing for a local indie hangout—the evening has a five-dollar cover that goes to benefit Sweat Records, whose shop was recently vandalized.

So check out the cool original pieces on display at this one-night only show and enjoy complimentary Colt45 from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. We can promise you an exciting Saturday night on the town, but be warned—we can't vouch for how hot you're going to feel come Sunday morning.
