Hot 4 Now: Charm Bitanga Narong

She's got access to some of the coolest people and places in SF—and we're asking her to spill her juiciest finds.

As the Regional Event Manager for Gen Art San Francisco, Charm Bitanga Narong is all over the place...literally. Even when she's not running around town planning fabulous events, she's a hard lady to pin down. But here's what you need to know: She loves margaritas, defines her personal style as "a mix of Victorian-style hippy chic+ old-skool Adidas," and is shockingly good at Snood. But enough oversharing about Charm; below four fun things that she's hot for in SF right now.

1. Mona T. Brooks' Photo Blog
I first saw this photographer's work last summer in the "Title IX" exhibition at The California State Justice Center, a tribute to the education amendment of the same name. Now, I like to follow her photo blog where she artfully covers everything under-the-sun in San Francisco, from events to politics.

2. Cocaine Mule
I met Trevor Tarczynski when he designed my birthday bash invite (it was modern-bohemian in the style of Toulouse-Lautrec); fast forward a few years later and he has a cruelty-free accessories line with childhood friend Tyler Huen. My personal favorite is the Dovetail Carryall, which gives easy access to your toiletries for last minute touch-ups.

3. D-Structure
With its main location in Montreal, I'm stoked to have scored D-Structure's ski and skate gear so close to home. Don't be put off if you've never donned rollerblades, snowblades or trick skis—they have casual womenswear and menswear a plenty. And check out their fresh First Fridays art openings put on by Azikiwee Anderson and his crew, which feature massive installations from a rotating list of local artists. This scene has Williamsburg on its toes.

4. Eug of Public Release
Eug is hands down my favorite DJ in San Francisco. Not only does he make you cut a rug with his righteous beats, he'll make sure you pop and lock, break or shake your tail feather like nobody's business. Catch him at "I CAN'T FEEL MY FACE" every second Friday at Amnesia with J. Montag; just make sure your moves are made on a Persian, 'cause this kid is royalty.
