Calling all film junkies: From April 24th to May 8th, the 51st San Francisco International Film Festival will bring the world to the Bay Area by screening over 100 unique programs of the finest in international cinema. Thousands of film lovers, filmmakers, journalists and industry professionals will be on hand to celebrate at spectacular, star-studded events. In short, the Festival will be a fabulous time that you simply won't want to miss.

While we're most excited about the Closing Night festivities—Academy Award-winner Alex Gibney's riveting documentary, "Gonzo: The Life and Work of Dr. Hunter S. Thompson", at the Castro Theatre—we're also stoked to see Asia Argento in the Opening Night film, "The Last Mistress", and can't wait to celebrity stalk Rose McGowan and Jason Lee, the recipients of the Festival's 2nd Annual Midnight Awards. More of an indie music fan? No worries. Black Francis, the former front man of the Pixies, will be performing his original score for "The Golem" on April 25th!
