Live, From New York

Raise your glass on the roof of the latest, greatest addition to the South Beach luxe hotel scene.

In a city of full of fashionable hotel destinations, it can be hard to tell your friends where to stay when they come to visit. Do you recommend something small and intimate, like one of the ten luxury suites at Casa Casuarina? Or a hot spot with more of a scene, like The Delano or The Shoreclub? With the recent opening of the Gansevoort South, your internal debate just got a lot more complicated.

This fresh import from New York City's Meatpacking District features a 22,000-square-foot rooftop retreat with an 110-foot pool, and a bar and lounge; a 40,000-square foot Stephane Dupoux-designed tropical pool deck; a lobby featuring a 50-foot long glass shark tank filled with 27 different types of fish and sharks; a DavidBartonGym + Spa; swank restaurants and lounges (including an outpost of New York's haute glam steakhouse, STK); and a wide range of luxury boutiques (including Manhattan girl favorites, Big Drop and Cutler Salon).

And then there are the over-sized guest rooms. A playful hot pink and charcoal gray palette and pin-up style photographs from the '30s and '40s help to create a fun, but totally glamorous atmosphere—it's kind of like falling into your dream apartment. In other words, you won't want to leave.

The Gansevoort South is now accepting reservations for February 15th onward; click here for more info and be sure to check out this amazing new space when they host our Fresh Faces in Fashion show next month!
