Time to Dance, Kiddies

Enter for your chance to win a Nooka Zub Zen 38 and a signed copy of Steve Aoki's new album!

If you're a fan of The Cobrasnake, dino-print hoodies or dance music, odds are you've heard of L.A. indie rock scene superstar Steve Aoki. His legendary Tuesday night parties at Cinespace in Hollywood have hosted debauched debut performances for everyone from Bloc Party to The Bravery, and Dim Mak ("Death Touch"—in honor of Bruce Lee), his small record label, has signed and released albums for buzz bands that range from The Kills to Oh No! Oh My! He's even got a clothing line. In other words, he's a pretty big deal.

But that wasn't always the case. Growing up in Newport Beach, Aoki claims that he never really felt like he belonged, until one day a kid passed him a mix tape packed with bands like Minor Threat and Gorilla Biscuits. "Music was where I fit," he has said. "Music became a central focus of what I wanted to be part of. That mix tape—it changed everything."

And that's the feeling Aoki hopes you get when you listen to his new mix album, Pillowface & His Airplane Chronicles; it features tracks from bands like Justice and Klaxons, along with his Weird Science remixes of Peaches and Bloc Party, and guest vocals from Todd Fink from The Faint, Steve Bays from Hot Hot Heat, Mickey Avalon, Kid Sister and a host of other mic fiends.

The album drops tomorrow, and to celebrate its release we're giving one Pulse reader a Nooka Zub Zen 38, and a signed copy of the CD and a poster. To enter for your chance to win, send us an email here with the correct answer to the following:

What kind of car does Aoki drive?

Good luck!
