Crankin' It to Level 11
Thanks to a hot new venue downtown, Dr. Drew isn't the only one hanging out in Rehab.
Attention South Florida elite: There's a brand new playground for satisfying your going-out fix, and it offers up fun in just the right doses. Stereo at the Parkwest Nightclub, otherwise known as the best reason ever to forsake the beach for that forbidden area west of NE 2nd Avenue, has officially opened its doors.
With 6,000 square-feet filled with David LaChapelle murals, bright anime art and giant video screens, Stereo offers guests an eye candy-filled trip into the ultramodern. The club features five bars, state-of-the-art lighting systems, revolving entertainment installations and an infamous Hybrid Sound System that does its name justice. Take a few steps to the right and you'll find your inebriated-self at Rehab, a more intimate and exclusive space that invokes Andy Warhol-inspired bliss.
Since opening in mid-December, week after week trendsetters, fashionistas and lovers of all things indie have packed the dance floor to the sounds of mega DJs like Brandon P and Ross One. Need more convincing to join 'em? Stereo is under the direction of the same team who brought you those unforgettable nights at Cameo, Space and Revolver. Enough said.
To check out an exclusive preview of their Damaged party this Friday night, featuring Montreal's DJ Hatchmatik, add your name to the guest list by sending them an email here. Get there early to score the complimentary cocktails from 10 to 11 p.m.!
Stereo is located at 30 NE 11th Street, (305) 350-7444.
