Anyone who wore their pants too short in high school typically got their ass kicked. Designer Swaim Hutson has modeled his unisex spring collection after a legendary (albeit, imagined) North Carolina rugby team, the Kingstown Mutiny, creating a new kind of formalwear for the sporty guy (and gal) who hates dressing up.

Far from traditional and infinitely cooler than your typical Ivy League-garb, Obedient Sons' spring/summer gear takes classic, recognizable silhouettes and makes them contemporary with an emphasis on color, layering and just a little bit of grunge. With combinations that may seem a little au contraire: a tuxedo jacket with cut-off shorts; a sleeveless cardigan over a cheeky floral shirt; and a spiffy Oxford shirt with...drawstring sweatpants?—Hutson fuses formal and casualwear, creating effortlessly clean-cut outfits befitting a summer barbeque, a beach wedding in the Grenadines, or a hipster high school prom. The almost identical offerings for women are appropriated into shorter shorts, higher-waisted trousers, and slimmer fitting blazers, resulting in an "Annie Hall"-esque aesthetic and giving girls a good reason to stop raiding their boyfriend's closets.

The line also features sweatshirts emblazoned with the mysterious Kingstown Mutiny logo, so when anyone asks who you're supporting, you can say, "Uh, some team you've obviously never heard of."
