We just wanted to spread some buzz about a hysterical air-drumming spectacular we caught wind of called Adventures of Power. The flick is currently in post-production, and while you can't see the trailer yet, we were able to catch an exclusive sneak peak. So take our word for it—this shit is crazy funny!

Adventures of Power was written and directed by our alum, Ari Gold (his shorts Culture, which you can watch here, and Helicopter, screened at our film festival). He also stars as a worker at a copper processing facility New Mexico who's a cross between Napoleon Dynamite and Michael Showalter in Wet Hot American Summer. The movie follows his pilgrimage to Newark, New Jersey, in search of an underground air-drumming community. There, he trains with an old-school funk master drummer to compete in the first ever air-drumming competition against a hot-billionaire-bachelor-cowboy (played by his Gold's real life band mate, Entourage's Adrian Grenier).
